Appendix
RSS Probe also lets you import the subscription list from Google Reader. Please note that we do not officially support this "tricky" method due to possible changes of the specs of Google Reader in the future.
Import your subscription list from Google Reader
- On the Google Reader's screen, select "Settings" -> "Folders and Tags".
- Mark the checkbox for the folder to import, then select "Public" in the "Change sharing..." dropdown menu.
- Click the "view public page" link to identify its URL.
- Write down your 20-digit user number contained in the URL.
- On the RSS Probe's Settings screen, tap
, then select "Import from your OPML file". - Enter "g/usernumber/foldername" as exemplified below:
ex.) If you share the folder called "probe", its public page's URL would look like this:
http://www.google.com/reader/shared/user/12345678901234567890/label/probe
It means your user number is 12345678901234567890, so enter the following string:
g/12345678901234567890/probe
- The subscribed feeds in the folder will be displayed. You can choose any number of feeds from the list.
* The list will be saved until you enter another URL. - Tap
when finished.
